Ryan Reynolds' titular X-Men franchise not expected to get rebooted by Disney now that the deal is closed. Twentieth Century Fox first launched their X-Men film series back in 2000. In the nearly two decades since, the studio completed the original X-Men trilogy, kicked off a spinoff trilogy starring Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and rebooted the franchise with its own prequel series. Further, in 2016 Fox released the first Deadpool movie, which was well received by fans and critics alike, becoming one of the most financially successful X-Men movies ever.
However, when it was first reported that marketing and distribution of Dark Phoenix, but the future of New Mutants is less clear. However, no matter what becomes of either film, it looks like the casts won't be sticking around as only Reynolds' Wade Wilson will be moving over to Disney.

In the wake of the Disney and Fox deal officially going into effect early this morning, THR reported an update on Fox's X-Men characters now that they belong to Disney and its subsidiary, Marvel Studios. According to the report, Reynolds' Deadpool is the only X-Men character expected to transition to Disney as is, with all the other big screen X-Men expected to be recast and their stories rebooted.
As such, X-Force and Deadpool 3 movies previously announced.
However, where things get a little tricky is incorporating Reynolds' PG-13 recut of Deadpool 2, Once Upon A Deadpool, proved the character can work in such a format, and fans may be willing to sacrifice the R rating if it means Wade Wilson can banter with the Avengers. Still, there's the issue of continuity. It remains to be seen if Marvel Studios has a way to introduce Reynolds' antihero to the MCU without breaking continuity (though, arguably, the studio would be more concerned with its own continuity than that of the Fox Deadpool movies, which might make it easier).
Although we now know a little more about what will become of the Reynolds' Deadpool is heading to Disney - even if none of the other X-Men characters will be ing him.
