Shazam! Fury of the Gods (March 17, 2023)Zachary Levi in the Shazam 2 BTS Trailer

Aptly, the first film set to be released after Black Adam is Helen Mirren as the villain which should add another element to the enjoyment of the film. It is set to be released March 17, 2023.

The Flash (June 23, 2023)Ezra Miller as The Flash

If Black Adam is one of the films with the longest time between announcement and release, then controversy with its star Ezra Miller, the film finally has a firm release date. After losing a heap of directors — including Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith — Andy Muschietti is the man at the helm. The film will follow Barry Allen as he attempts to save his mother from dying in the past, based on a plot from the 'Flashpoint' comics. The film will introduce Sasha Calle as Supergirl to the DCEU, and it will also mark the return of Michael Keaton as Batman, reprising his role from the 1989 film. As things stand, it is set to be released June 23, 2023.

Blue Beetle (August 18, 2023)Blue Beetle has Amazing Armor

Originally intended to be released alongside Blue Beetle follows Jaime Reyes, a Mexican-American teenager from Texas who discovers what he thinks to be a scarab but turns out to be an alien battle suit. Xolo Mariduena will star, directed by Angel Manuel Soto from a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. It seems to be going slightly under the radar at the minute, but could end up being a welcome surprise when the film is released August 18, 2023.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (December 25, 2023)Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry AKA Aquaman in the orange armor in Aquaman (2018)

James Wan returns to direct this sequel after the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles from the first movie, with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta assumed to return also. Wan has said this will have a more serious tone to the first movie and be larger in scope, with different worlds being shown through its runtime. The late December slot was a winner for the studio the first time around, so it's stuck with it this time, with a December 25, 2023 release.

Matt Reeves confirmed that he and Pattinson will return for a sequel, but nothing else on the project is known as yet. Cast of the original are likely to return, like Jeffery Wright's Jim Gordon. Following Kara Zor-El, cousin of Superman, the film could show her early life on Earth as an origin story, but that detail depends on what happens in The Flash.
