Lucasfilm has announced 3 Star Wars movies set over 25,000 years. Star Wars: New Jedi Order

The first and perhaps most significant movie announcement is Rey's return in Star Wars: New Jedi Order. Set 15 years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the sequel will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and written by Steven Knight, with Daisy Ridley reprising her role. Star Wars Celebration's final movie reveal was James Mangold's Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi, set 25,000 years in the galaxy's past.
