Actor Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but has maintained stardom since that show ended. Angel left the regular cast of Bones, which was another huge success, running for a whopping 12 seasons and 246 episodes, finally ending for good in 2017. For those keeping score, Boreanaz had by that juncture starred on a hit network show for 19 of the last 20 years, an amazing accomplishment.
That said, that still wasn't the end for Boreanaz, who hopped over to the lead role on CBS' animated DC movie Justice League: The New Frontier.
