Hamill even trended on Twitter recently just after tweeting his own name.
While Hamill himself is famous on and off-screen, Darth Vader is of course, one of the most infamous fictional and morally complex villains of all time. Initially introduced as the most menacing Sith Lord in the galaxy during the iconic opening of Star Wars: A New Hope, Darth Vader seemed to completely lack any trace of humanity. However, Vader's mysterious backstory began with his famous "I am your father" line to Luke during The Empire Strikes Back. In a recent response on Twitter, Hamill revealed he actually couldn't hear Vader's line during filming, adding an impressive layer of context to Hamill's agonized "No!" in that legendary moment.
More recently, a cute black cat with a piercing gaze that was dressed up in a Darth Vader helmet and a Death Star necklace caught Hamill's attention. Hamill responded to the cat on his Twitter page with a funny caption, "I... can... not... look... away..." Check out Hamill's tweet below to Darth Vader cat.

There's nothing better than combining two things the Internet loves the most, Star Wars and cute cats. Hamill's response to Darth Vader cat is funny and yet another example of the actor's lighthearted Star Wars inspired humor that truly makes Hamill fun to follow on social media. It's evident that Hamill still has a lot of love for the Star Wars fandom, and the fandom adores Hamill in return. Hamill's response to Darth Vader cat for example, has garnered over 89,000 likes and counting.
Whether it's joking about his surprise cameo in season 2 of The Mandalorian or tweeting a heartwarming response to Carrie Fisher getting a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Mark Hamill continues to be a positive online presence. It's challenging not to liken Hamill to his famous Star Wars character, as both Hamill and Luke were and are positive harbingers of hope for the galaxy and the real world. Hamill may not have destroyed the Death Star in real life, but his dedication to the Star Wars fandom at large continues to make him a real-life hero to many.
