A pair of connect back to Demon's Souls.
In a Reddit post by uyumilky, the and her twin sister have created an impressive Fire Keeper, Mimic duo cosplay, and the result is stunning. The Fire Keeper cosplayer looks almost identical to her appearance in Dark Souls 3, while the Mimic here has dance moves, in addition to having an uncanny resemblance to the often anxiety-inducing enemy.
The Most Realistic Dark Souls Cosplay?
They Feel Ripped Straight From The Game
Together, these two cosplayers might have the most realistic Dark Souls 3 cosplay ever, and that's impressive given that Dark Souls 3 is now almost a decade old. The Fire Keeper cosplay adorns the character's iconic black robes and crown-like eye coverings. In-game, these are designed to cover empty eye sockets, which can be filled by a quest that provides one of the most important choices in Dark Souls 3. Her skin is also ashy, and her blond hair matches the Fire Keeper's almost perfectly.

How Elden Ring Nightreign Could Connect To Dark Souls 3
Elden Ring: Nightreign has referenced many aspects from the Dark Souls series, particularly from DS3, and it could imply that the worlds are linked.
The Mimic cosplay is equally impressive, especially given how difficult it is to pull off. uyumilky noted that you cannot see when the Mimic chest is on her head, and the long tongue is made out of fabric, which was then topped with multiple layers, tree glue, and mixed paint. Then she added more layers with the glue over it to give it a fleshy appearance. The Mimic has proven to be a popular character to cosplay, despite its complexity and it often being uncomfortable.
Dark Souls Cosplay Proves The Series Is Alive
Even Nine Years Later
While there have been several other games by developer FromSoftware since the Souls trilogy, like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Elden Ring, there hasn't been a new entry since 2016. There have been rumors of a Dark Souls 3 remaster, but nothing has materialized yet. The series is still hugely popular, and the community is just as ionate about it nine years later, leading to stellar cosplays like this one.
FromSoftware's next game, after Elden Ring Nightreign's more contentious take on the formula, is a new IP called The Duskbloods, another multiplayer-focused game that will be exclusive to the Switch 2. Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has reiterated that the company's focus will not be on multiplayer in the future, and that it still plans on making single-player games, so a Dark Souls 3 remaster or a new Souls game could be brewing. Either way, there could be more awesome cosplays in the future.
