titled Daredevil: Born Again, and will star Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Information on the return of Karen Page or any other Daredevil characters has yet to be confirmed.
Woll first appeared as Karen Page, the assistant to Cox's Matt Murdock and Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson after being their client, since Daredevil's premiere and immediately grew fond of the character's story and motivations. While she had never read any Daredevil comic books before taking on the role, Woll fully embraced Karen and portrayed her in her own style, creating a distinction from the comic book and the 2003 film character. Audiences were quick to fall in love with Woll's approach to portraying Karen, leaving many hopeful for both hers and Foggy's return in Daredevil: Born Again, and now the star is sharing her thoughts on possibly coming back.
While speaking with Collider to discuss her Truest Blood podcast, Daredevil's Deborah Ann Woll opened up about her potential MCU return. The Karen actor expressed her hopes to come back to the fold for the new series, Daredevil: Born Again, while also sharing her feeling there is "so much more story to tell." See what Woll said below:
So, I mean, it means so much to me. I love that character so much, and I do miss it. I really felt like we were unfinished. We had so much more story to tell. So yeah, it's really gratifying to see how much people love her and want to see more from her. I hope I get to. I'm here. They know my number. I'm available, as far as I know. But it's up to them. I know they're going to tell the best story that they know how to tell. And if that includes Karen Page, that will be so exciting. But if it doesn't, I will be a happy viewer.
How Could Karen Page Return To MCU?
Karen Page has always been a fan-favorite of the Daredevil series, and Woll's acting performance only amplified that. Woll portrayed a strong, loyal, and incredibly interesting character to follow throughout the show, making fans hopeful for the return of Page. While Woll's wording seems vague about whether she knows of an MCU return, it is still exciting to see the actor be so ionate about the idea of Page coming back.
Daredevil has never had a season without Page, so it sems unlikely that she would not return to the show for its season. As Daredevil has continued to gain popularity from his cameos in movies and such projects as Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, new and old fans have been drawn to the story. The hype around these cameos has created more desire for future Daredevil content and the fan-favorite characters' returns, and when paired with Woll's enthusiasm for an MCU return should create hope that when the full casting is released, she will be confirmed to be back as Karen.
