Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page returns alongside Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock in Foggy Nelson's tragic death and attended Bullseye's trial before parting ways with Matt Murdock. While her absence is felt throughout Daredevil: Born Again season 1, the wait for her return won't be as long as it may have seemed at first.

As reported by JustJared, Deborah Ann Woll and Charlie Cox were both spotted on the Daredevil: Born Again set. Woll's Karen Page sports bright red hair and Cox's Matt Murdock wears a large coat. The context of Daredevil: Born Again season 2's set photos is unknown at this point, but it seems as though Karen Page and Matt Murdock are going incognito in this scene.

Karen Page Will Likely Have A Significant Role In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Karen Page, Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson in Daredevil Born Again

Karen Page's exit from Daredevil: Born Again's plot after episode 2 may have been disappointing for longtime fans of Daredevil, but as showrunner Dario Scardapane explained it, Karen Page copes realistically with Foggy Nelson's death by distancing herself from Matt Murdock. However, it's also natural for Karen Page to reunite with her and Foggy's closest friend some time after the pain of Foggy's death reached its peak. Similarly to Peter Parker's relationship with MJ and Ned Leeds, Matt and Karen's bond is unbreakable despite the tragedy they experienced, and their reunion is inevitable.

Kingpin's story has some interesting twists in Daredevil: Born Again episode 4, and one of them seems connected to a big death in Daredevil season 1.

On the other hand, it's possible that there's something darker behind Karen Page's reunion with Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. If Karen feels pressured into ing Matt for help despite her desire to leave her old life behind, it would make a lot of sense for her to change her appearance to do it, and for Matt to be wearing a large coat in public. By the time Daredevil: Born Again season 2 arrives, Matt may not have fully stopped Wilson Fisk and Muse, and Bullseye may have already done something in revenge for his conviction. Any of these villains could put Karen Page's life in peril.

Our Take On The Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Set Photos

Karen Page Deserves An Important Role In The MCU

Daredevil: Born Again season 1 justifies Foggy Nelson's abrupt death with an exciting plot based on its repercussions, which include Karen Page's departure from Matt Murdock's life. However, Karen Page is too important a character to leave behind permanently. Not only is Karen Matt's best friend, but she also plays a key role in the stories of Wilson Fisk and Frank Castle. While nothing is going to be the same as it was in Netflix's Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page still has potential for future storylines in the MCU proper.
