Ray Fisher, who portrays the Snyder Cut of Justice League

The Cyborg solo movie has gone on a complicated journey since it was first announced back in 2014. DC has made several films since its initial lineup reveal, with varying degrees of success. After a slow start, films like Wonder Woman helped reinvigorate the DCEU. However, despite that standalone film and others being made, Cyborg never happened. Even just a few years ago, DC still intended to make the movie, but it ultimately never came to fruition. What's more, the reason why isn't exactly clear, as Fisher and others were clearly excited by the prospect of it.

Though fans have known for awhile now that Cyborg wouldn't make its planned April 2020 release date, it's still nice to acknowledge what could have been. It's also good to hear that Fisher felt ed by fans and peers on what might have been a difficult day for him. It may be several years, if ever, until a Cyborg movie finally gets made, but at least Fisher knows he has the of DCEU fans until then.
