In Cyberpunk 2077, players can unlock the new Seraph pistol, a handgun that was included in the massive content update from patch 1.5. This patch brought new weapons, side quests, vehicles, and a myriad of gameplay updates to the game, as well as a next-gen version that has improved graphics for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Seraph pistol is one of the more powerful weapons that players can now use in Cyberpunk 2077, though it isn't unlocked through traditional means.
The new Seraph pistol is a Power weapon, much like the new Darra Polytechnic Umbra assault rifle or Budget Arms Guillotine SMG in Cyberpunk 2077. This means that the bullets of the new handgun can ricochet off of surfaces, and, additionally, the quality of the Seraph pistol that players can unlock improves this trait as well. Once players obtain the new handgun, their weapon immediately has access to an increase in critical damage, ricochet damage, critical chance, and headshot multiplier when compared to most other types of pistols in Cyberpunk 2077.
Additionally, the Seraph pistol has a unique trait with its bullets that set enemies ablaze, and enemies that are caught on fire will receive increased damage. While this perk does not stack with additional mods or upgrades, the Seraph pistol makes short work of enemies within a few rounds. Some of the best new weapon attachments in Cyberpunk 2077 can even be added to the handgun, further improving its usability. Specifically, players may find that the new RC-7 Liger muzzle brake and the Handyman short scope are perfect for the Seraph pistol. This particular muzzle brake increases ricochet angle, chance, and bullet damage, while the new handgun scope provides a clear, unobtrusive image of enemies in close-quarters combat in addition to adding a slight increase to a handgun's range.
