The Curse Should Continue Its Cast's Hot Streaks

Stone is currently garnering major Oscar buzz for her performance in Poor Things. The film, which reunites the actress with The Favourite director Yorgos Lanthimos, is a riff on Frankenstein and sees Stone playing a young woman who is brought back to life and begins a journey of self-discovery. The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, and Christopher Abbott.

The Curse cast also includes Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, who co-created the comedy show. The former is a comedian known for Comedy Central's Nathan for You and the HBO docu-comedy The Rehearsal, the latter of which showcased Fielder's surprising acting ability. Safdie, who is best known for co-writing and co-directing Good Time and Uncut Gems, also recently turned heads with his transformative performance in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer as Hungarian physicist Edward Teller. The Curse, which is receiving early acclaim, should continue to showcase each one of these trio's incredible talents.

The Curse premieres on Paramount+ with Showtime on November 10, followed by its on-air debut on Showtime on November 12.
