Brewster, who stars as Emily Prentiss, has had multiple surgeries on her elbow and has been doing physical therapy to get her arm back in shape. During one of her social media posts in March 2025, Brewster shared that she has been doing physical therapy at home in order to be ready to play Prentiss again starting in May, when the series will head back into production.
