However, if you're particularly lacking in defense or cooldown stats, you may want to use a non-elemental Beascuit for an extra non-damage related substat. Similarly to toppings, you will want to look out for cooldown and damage resistance substats.

Other substats that increase his longevity can also be useful, such as defense, HP, and debuff resistance. However, damage resistance is the most effective in helping cookies survive battles. Attack and attack speed will also benefit him, but this risks a shorter lifetime. Even though Almond Cookie currently doesn't have much of a place in many meta teams and isn't the best cookie to use, it's no wonder he's a fan favorite, and it would be no surprise to see him receive some buffs or a magic candy in the future of Cookie Run: Kingdom.
