Gary King is one of the most iconic cast from Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but I'm convinced his bad behavior will get the show canceled. Gary's role after sexual misconduct accusations. However, I think their feeble attempts were too late.

Gary tried to get sober in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 but was unsuccessful, directly disobeying Captain Glenn Shephard's rules when going out with the charter guests. He also became jealous of Daisy again when she dated Deckhand Keith Allen halfway through the season, despite Keith's obvious care for and interest in Daisy. Gary ruined his reputation, but he might have also ruined the show. Here's why I think that's the case.

He's Too Much Trouble For The Network

I'm honestly surprised Gary's bad behavior didn't get him fired sooner, but now that everything is out there, I wouldn't be surprised if Bravo decided to cut their losses. According to the lawsuit by former Bravo employee Samantha Suarez, Gary allegedly held Samantha against her will in his hotel room and attempted to assault her. Even after she reported the incident, producers allowed him to keep filming. Gary denied all allegations.

The biggest issue, however, is that the network seemed to cover up his misconduct. They prioritized Gary's popularity and desire to stir the pot over safety. If enough viewers lose trust in how the show handles serious issues, Bravo may have no choice but to pull the plug.

Gary's Behavior May Cause Other Cast To Quit

Daisy Is Over His Shenanigans

Gary's behavior might be leading to more behind-the-scenes drama than we realize. I wouldn't be surprised if Gary's constant shenanigans had caused Captain Glenn or Daisy to consider quitting. His repeated and unwanted advances towards Daisy have been a source of issues between them, something I consider to be a sign of his inability to respect boundaries. Their dynamic, once flirtatious, has turned toxic.

Daisy might not come back if Gary continues to star in the show because she seems ready to move on from their friendship.

Captain Glenn might seem to Gary on the surface, but he can't in good conscience think about promoting him in any way. Whether it’s crew conflicts, inappropriate behavior, or moments of insubordination, Gary’s actions could be a serious liability for the yacht’s operations, which is Captain Glenn's top priority. Even Glenn has his limits.

Gary Needs To Get Fired

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 6 could be revived. While I've been entertained by Gary over the years, he needs to be fired for it to continue. Bravo can't keep rehiring him, knowing his liabilities in of drinking and women. However, there are other entertaining cast to keep Below Deck Sailing Yacht afloat. New villain Danni Warren should return, as should consummate favorite Daisy. Producers have some important choices to make.
