The two launch maps for Liberty Falls and Terminus, have been received very well by veterans and newcomers to the game mode alike. As Black Ops 6 was launched day-one on Xbox Game , many players will have had their first experience of the round-based undead wave shooter, and both maps have been acclaimed as a return-to-form for fans. One way in which Liberty Falls demonstrates its success is through its many Easter Eggs and hidden secrets.

The Zombies game mode is historically known for its elaborate Easter Eggs, including entire questlines, hidden weapons, power-ups, songs, and other smaller secrets. The launch maps take heavy inspiration from many of the series greats, like Der Eisendrache, Origins, and Mob of the Dead, by featuring all of these hidden extras, with at least 25 known secrets in Liberty Falls. From the currently known information, 10 of the best Easter Eggs can be noted from this map, based on complexity, enjoyability of completion, peculiarity, and the rewards provided.

10 Vending Machine

In the opening area of Liberty Falls, players can locate an ordinary vending machine that seems unremarkable at first glance. However, hitting the opening of the machine with a melee attack will produce a randomly generated reward. Some of its outgoings are useless, such as non-interactable chip packets, or even lethal active grenades, but players can expect to pick up some points, salvage, and ammo. Players have even reported receiving high quality loot like Perk-A-Colas and Wonder Weapons like the Ray Gun.

While the rewards from this Easter Egg have the potential to be incredible, it's a very simple one to perform and requires a button press to activate it. It is far more likely that players receive a low-quality reward, but as rewards can be provided at least once a round, Zombies enthusiasts are recommended to visit it often.

9 Blood Pool

This Easter Egg is slightly more elaborate than the Vending Machine, requiring players to have three Semtex grenades that are tossed into a swimming pool full of what appears to be blood. This can be found next to the Liberty Lanes bowling alley. Once all three explosives have been tossed into the pool, the player will be rewarded with salvage, weaponry, and other bonuses, after a red sphere emerges from the pool and bursts open. This sequence can be repeated up to three times after five rounds have ed between activations, with the final reward being a Fire Sale power-up.

The loot received from this Easter Egg isn't necessarily the greatest available in Liberty Falls, but it is a decent selection that will assist players, especially in the lower rounds. The repetition of the secret, like the vending machine, instead makes it a reliable source of gear.

8 Grave Digging

To initiate this Easter Egg, the player must shoot a specific barrel on the Washington Avenue rooftops, using the Chopper Gunner or Hellstorm Missile abilities. Once done, they will be able to pick up a spade which can be used to dig up graves in the cemetery area of Liberty Falls. Players can expect to dig up the usual loot like salvage, points, Perk-A-Colas, and Wonder Weapons, but the undead still remain in some graves. Players must remain vigilant of enemies emerging from their burial place.

If this Easter Egg is done in the later rounds, players can expect to receive far greater loot, which makes the grave digging very useful. However, the use of a powerful but rare ability like a Chopper Gunner exclusively to do this Easter Egg can be quite impractical.

7 Fire Trap In The Church

This hidden secret is especially useful during the final stage of the main Easter Egg quest line, as it can assist the player in fending off waves of zombies in the church's very tight area. The player simply has to shoot some candles near the Pack-A-Punch machine with a Napalm Burst or throw a molotov at them. Once this has been done, large patches of fire will form and rise on the floor which will damage any zombies, or players, that walk on them.

This will greatly help the player to control the zombies in the church during the last part of the main quest. However, players will still be damaged by the fire, so they must remain vigilant of this threat too. Nonetheless, it is a simple and convenient secret to utilize.

6 Raining Zombies

Though this doesn’t offer the same level of utility as the other Easter Eggs, the comedic value steals the show. By using a form of explosive weaponry, like a rocket launcher, on a zombie head attached to the top of the church's tower, the sky will rain zombies upon the player for a whole minute. The image of them hurtling towards the ground is greatly amusing, but the zombies will still drop their standard ammo and salvage loot, making the secret useful.

This Easter Egg combines jarringly humorous imagery with some practical items. It's a good idea to do this Easter Egg near the start of the game, as a minute's worth of salvage is useful in preparation for further rounds.

5 Zombie Rave Bus

Zombies dancing on top of a bus in Black Ops 6.

In contrast to many of the other serviceable Easter Eggs in Liberty Falls, the Zombie Rave bus seems to be exclusively designed to humor the player. By using binoculars to peer at a dancing zombie in the distance, a rave will suddenly initiate as music blares from the town's speaker systems. The zombies will all congregate on a bus near the waterfront and begin dancing to electronic tunes for around a minute.

Although it's possible there could be some deeper meaning to this Easter Egg, or another step to it, it's likely intended to be senseless fun from the developers. Either way, it is certain to greatly entertain those who encounter this, especially if it is somehow initiated unknowingly.

4 Creating The Jet Gun Wonder-Weapon

Creating the Jet Gun, which makes its grand return from Black Ops 2's TranZit, is one of the most elaborate Easter Eggs in Black Ops 6: Zombies. As the Wonder-Weapon is essential to completing the main questline of Liberty Falls, many players have experienced this sequence to obtain the powerful device. Players must complete three steps to collect parts of the weapon: defending against waves of Zombies whilst changing a water pressure gauge, finding a key to a shed, and digging up a salvage pile.

Getting the Jet Gun requires preparation and understanding, as it can take several rounds to get the weapon. The Jet Gun Easter Egg requires interacting with a Mangler (or getting the Mangler Cannon), defending against a never-ending horde in the bowling alley, and locating a specific zombie in the cemetery. The Jet Gun comprises a great sequence overall for the main questline, with the reward being incredibly useful as a weapon, and essential to the main quest.

3 Bank Vault

Players can break into the bank vault in the Savings and Loan building in Liberty Falls by simply locating three unique codes. Once done, it's possible to return to the vault several times if loot keys are located after defeating mini-bosses, with potential Wonder Weapons and Perk-A-Colas on offer. The beauty of this Easter Egg is its simplicity, with outstanding loot on offer.

2 Becoming Aetherella

Aetherella in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

The Aetherella superhero character in Olly's Comics store isn't just a statue in Liberty Falls, the player can physically become the powerful Aetherella. When in her form, the player is impervious to damage and has an incredibly powerful damage output for an approximate two-minute window. To initiate the Easter Egg, nine miniature Aetherella statues must be located throughout the map and sucked up using the Jet Gun. Once done, the player can then morph into the superhero's form.

This sequence provides an incredibly overpowered reward that may be practically essential in the latter stage of the main Easter Egg questline. Becoming Aetherella is a shining example of the complexity that often surrounds Easter Eggs in Zombies, making it a fan favorite and one of Black Ops 6's best.

1 Liberty Lanes Bowling Minigame

This excellent Easter Egg benefits from being convoluted, bizarre, rewarding, and truly enjoyable. To begin, the player must shoot five different pairs of bowling shoes located throughout Liberty Falls. After the fifth has been shot, everyone in the lobby will be teleported to an alternate Liberty Lanes bowling alley, with Manglers and Zombies partying. Zombies will walk across the lanes, and the player is prompted to bowl towards the makeshift undead bowling pins. Everyone in the game will be rewarded, but the higher the bowling score, the better the loot for the winner.

Like many of the other Easter Eggs, the rewards can vary in quality, but this depends on the player's score in the minigame. The whole setting is a complete tonal change from the rest of the gamemode, but this entertaining sequence, combined with the potentially game-changing loot, has led to the Liberty Lanes Bowling Alley minigame's consideration as the best Easter Egg in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Liberty Falls map.
