It does not look like Coco outpacing the DC epic when it comes to Fandango ticket sales for the weekend.

Optimism for Justice League ushering DC Films to a better path after its rocky start quickly dissipated when the film received mixed reviews from critics and a  raking in $281.5 million, but it's still not good enough gross for a film that is supposed to be the event movie for Warner Bros.' superhero franchise.

Things only get worse for the Zack Snyder flick as on Fandango's latest Fanticipation chart, Coco currently ranks ahead of Justice League (via  highest grossing movie ever in Mexico.

Obviously, this is bad news for Warner Bros. as Justice League is already not doing well after being released last week. It reportedly needs to make as much as $100 million. Many were hoping that the DC epic could rake in huge amounts of sales even after its opening weekend due to the holiday.

Much of the people's gripe about Justice League is its rushed storytelling and lack of character establishments for the newbies, specifically Aquaman and The Flash. release of Snyder's original cut of the movie.
