Warning: SPOILERS For Cobra Kai's Final 5 Episodesdeath in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2's finale, Cobra Kai's climactic episodes resolved the Sekai Taikai tournament, crowning new world champions in Miguel Diaz (Xolo Mariduena) and Tory Nichols (Peyton List) - with the twist that both fought for the Cobra Kai dojo.
Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who regained Cobra Kai from John Kreese (Martin Kove), defeated Sensei Wolf (Louis Tan) in an impromptu final Sekai Taikai fight to affirm Cobra Kai as the greatest karate dojo in the world. Meanwhile, the primary storylines of Cobra Kai's huge cast of characters were resolved, launching the kids and their senseis into new directions in life.
As expansive as Cobra Kai's cast is, Netflix's hit series found room to bring back even more familiar faces for the final episodes. Multiple recurring characters from past Cobra Kai seasons, and from The Karate Kid movies, pleasingly popped up in Cobra Kai's last 5 episodes. 18 Shannon Keene
Played By Diora Baird
Shannon Keene returned in a pair of scenes in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 11, "Into the Fire" and episode 13, "Skeletons." Shannon is Robby Keene's (Tanner Buchanan) mother, and she was part of a meeting at West Valley High to discuss Robbie's academic future after karate. Shannon was back at the Sekai Taikai tournament to cheer Robby on alongside Amanda LaRusso (Courtney Henggeler).
17 Guidance Counselor Blatt
Played By Erin Bradley Dangar
Guidance Counselor Blatt made a return appearance in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 11, "Into the Fire." Blatt led a meeting about Robby Keene's options after graduation. As ever, Blatt is clueless about the goings-on with many of the teens at West Valley High, and Johnny Lawrence had to be restrained when Blatt compared field hockey to karate.
16 Anoush & Louie LaRusso
Played By Dan Ahdoot & Bret Ernst
Anoush and Louie LaRusso have been comedic recurring characters since Cobra Kai season 1. Salesmen at the LaRusso Auto Group, both Louie and Anoush perceptively noticed something was off about Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) since he returned from Barcelona.

15 Captain George Turner & Young John Kreese
Played By Terry Serpico & Barrett Carnahan
Cobra Kai season 6, episode 11, "Into the Fire," flashed back to the young John Kreese and Captain George Turner during the Vietnam War. Master Kim Sun-Yung (C.S. Lee) reminded John Kreese (Martin Kove) that he trained Turner, who took his skills with him to fight the American wars.

Young John Kreese's backstory in Vietnam was depicted in Cobra Kai season 3. Turner trained Kreese in what became Cobra Kai karate. In Vietnam, John met and saved the life of the young Terry Silver (Nick Marini), and Kreese killed Turner when he kicked George into a pit of snakes in a fight to the death - all bad memories for Kreese.
14 Vanessa LaRusso

Vanessa LaRusso returned in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 11, "Into the Fire." A perceptive grad student in child psychology, Vanessa understood that Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mo) wants to study abroad and not attend UCLA close to home. Vanessa also saw how "messed" up Daniel was after Barcelona, and encouraged Amanda to speak to her husband.
13 Daryl & All Valley Karate Council
Daryl Played By Keith Arthur Bolden
Daryl and the All Valley Karate Council are back in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 11, "Rattled." The council is the governing body of the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament, and Gunther Braun (Carsten Nørgaard) met with them about the Sekai Taiki finals taking place in the All Valley Sports Arena.
Daryl is the proud innovator of the blue mats in 2019's All Valley tournament in Cobra Kai season 4.
After a misunderstanding with Gunther that turned physical, Braun mended fences. Daryl resumed his prized position as master of ceremonies and announcer to introduce the fight between Sensei Wolf and Johnny Lawrence in Cobra Kai's series finale, "Ex-Degenerate."
12 Mailman
Played By David Lengel
A mailman delivered a letter to Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto) from Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 2, "Rattled." The mustachioed mailman is a callback to the letter carrier in The Karate Kid Part II, and he even said the same dialogue about how you'd never know there was a lush Japanese garden behind Mr. Miyagi's house from the front exterior.
11 Rosa Diaz
Played By Rose Bianco
Rosa Diaz is Miguel's abuelita, and the mother of Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio). Thanks to Rosa urging Johnny Lawrence to stop "living in sin" with the pregnant Carmen, he proposed and married her before she delivered their baby in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 12, "Rattled." This officially made Rosa Johnny's mother-in-law.
10 Winnie Taylor
Played By Elizabeth Berkeley
A new Cobra Kai character, Winnie Taylor is played by Elizabeth Berkeley in a surprise appearance. Winnie is the mother of Moon (Hannah Kepple) and is a New Age believer.
Elizabeth Berkeley is best known for her roles on Saved By The Bell and Showgirls.
Daniel and Amanda LaRusso tried to play matchmaker with Chozen and Winnie during a wine-tasting trip to Ojai, but Winnie helped Chozen realize his true feelings for Master Kim Da-Eun (Alicia Hannah-Kim).
9 Bobby Brown
Played By Ron Thomas
Bobby Brown is one of Johnny Lawrence's oldest friends, and he was part of The Karate Kid's original Cobra Kai gang. Now a pastor, Bobby helped Johnny sort out whether he should propose to Carmen in Cobra Kai season 6, episode 12, "Rattled." Bobby then presided over Carmen and Johnny's wedding.
