With just two weeks remaining until its premiere, Netflix has unveiled the official Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 trailer.
The video, as seen above, offers a better look at the first part of the final season of the Karate Kid sequel show, with Daniel and Johnny preparing their students to compete at the Sekai Taikai. The trailer also teases the new of Kreese's Cobra Kai, co-led by Kim Da-eun, who will be major foes at the international tournament, as well as revealing a box of secrets Mr. Miyagi hid away in the Miyagi-Do dojo.
Daniel & Johnny's Peaceful Partnership Won't Last Long In Cobra Kai Season 6
Though the Cobra Kai season 5 finale seemingly established Daniel and Johnny finally being able to move on from their past towards a brighter future, the season 6 trailer does set up a number of emotional hurdles for the two that will seemingly bring their peaceful partnership to an end rather quickly. Not only are the duo seen squaring off in a heated moment, but also still appear to be conflicting over their different teaching methods. Johnny is clearly still pulling from his macho playbook to prepare the students for the Sekai Taikai, while Daniel wants to find some semblance of balance between Eagle Fang's offense and Miyagi-Do's defense.

Cobra Kai Season 6: All 15 Confirmed Of Johnny & Daniel's Dojo
In Cobra Kai season 6, Johnny and Daniel have access to the strongest roster of Miyagi-Do students they've ever had in their careers as senseis.
One of the biggest hurdles Daniel and Johnny's partnership will encounter in Cobra Kai season 6 is the introduction of a box of secrets regarding Mr. Miyagi's past. While it's unclear whether the secrets are a positive or negative thing regarding Daniel's mentor, the revelation that there are things he doesn't know about Mr. Miyagi is sure to distract Daniel from the training, which is sure to not only frustrate Johnny, but also the students. With the trailer even teasing tension remaining between Sam and Tory, as well as another competition between Miguel and Robbie, not having the full attention of Daniel could further damage these relationships.
The other major problem Daniel and Johnny will have to face in the lead up to Cobra Kai season 6's Sekai Taikai is the return of Kreese following his successful escape from prison and building of a new dojo with Kim Da-eun's help. Much like Daniel with Mr. Miyagi's box of secrets, Johnny's former sensei is sure to throw a wrench into their tournament preparation with further mind games in an effort to win back his old student. With the stakes remaining incredibly high for Daniel, Johnny and their students, there is a lot to look forward to from all three parts of Cobra Kai season 6.
Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 premieres on Netflix on July 18, with part 2 premiering on November 28 and a finale event set for an unspecified 2025 date.
