Warning: Contains spoilers for Chainsaw Man chapter #189the reunion of Part Two's main trio in the previous chapter, the newest entry, titled "Heart, , Octopus", sees the newly reformed team turn the tide of the battle. Using Pochita's eating erasure abilities in an all-new way, Asa and Yoshida take turns shoving their arms down Denji's throat, while firing attacks at the Aging Devil through the armored Chainsaw Man's mouth.

The ongoing battle is almost certainly Chainsaw Man's weirdest, and just as it seems the current events of the story couldn't possibly get any stranger, a second Fumiko appears over her own dying body. Fans have debated the true nature of the mysterious devil hunter since her very first appearance in the story, and the latest chapter has only further muddied any ongoing theories surrounding her. Chainsaw Man has always been unpredictable, and its latest cliffhanger will have its audience tirelessly searching for answers until the next release.

Chainsaw Man Introduces a Second Fumiko

The Mysterious Devil Hunter Appears as a Clone

Chainsaw Man Part Two's most controversial character by far, Fumiko Mifune appeared on the scene in chapter #136, and has done little but provoke the ire of the fanbase ever since. Offering herself to the Aging Devil in the early goings of the fight, the community rejoiced when Fumiko began losing her organs as a sacrifice. However, it seems that the celebrations were premature, as the moment she speaks her last words in the latest chapter, another Fumiko appears in perfect condition above her own body.

The only other instance of anything similar to Fumiko's clone in Chainsaw Man is Asa and Yoru appearing separately, but even then only one of them is physically present while the other is a hallucination. Theories that the mischievous devil hunter was actually a devil herself are suddenly much more credible with the latest twist, and the extent of her abilities remain largely mysterious. The possibility that Fumiko has secretly been the Death Devil all this time still exists, though the lack of horseman eyes might point to another possibility.

Chainsaw Man Is Setting Up Part Two's Wildest Battle Yet

Though the public perception of Chainsaw Man Part Two is that it's a much slower affair than Part One, the ongoing section has enjoyed its share of large-scale battles, like the duel with the Falling Devil. The current fight with the Aging Devil, however, is so over-the-top that it makes a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure battle look normal in comparison. And given the Octopus Devil's appearance to close out the latest chapter, it's only going to get wilder.
