In a new Celebrity Wheel of Fortune season 5 is now airing two days a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The May 20 episode features Katharine Mhee, Josh Gad, and Andrew Rannells, while the May 21 episode's contestants are Regina Hall, Sam Richardson, and Randall Park.

Earlier in the clip, Andrew shouts, "Yes!," while raising his arms in victory. Katharine, Regina, and Randall are also seen in the teaser.

Andrew and Josh have known each other for years, as they both starred in The Book of Mormon on Broadway, originating the roles of Elder Price and Elder Cunningham, respectively, in 2011. They both received Tony Award nominations for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for their performances.

Josh's declaration that Andrew is the luckiest spinner in Celebrity Wheel of Fortune history could indicate he landed on the million-dollar wedge more than once in the two games they played in the episode. This means that Andrew might've had the chance to win $1 million for his charity. However, it would've been a long and challenging road for him to achieve that goal. First, Andrew would have to land on the wedge after spinning the wheel. Next, he'd need to guess a letter correctly. Then he has to solve the puzzle and win the round without landing on Bankrupt.

After that, Andrew has to win the overall game and advance to the Bonus Round. In that round, he has to land on the million-dollar envelope on the Bonus Wheel. Finally, he has to solve the puzzle correctly in order to win the $1 million. Although landing on the million-dollar wedge by chance twice seems to be an impossible feat, three regular Wheel of Fortune contestants have done it, and one Celebrity Wheel of Fortune contestant, Melissa Joan Hart, achieved it in 2021, winning the money for her charity, Youth Villages.

It Would Be Phenomenal To See Another Million-Dollar Winner

A million-dollar win on Wheel of Fortune is extremely rare because the odds are so stacked against it happening. However, it would be thrilling to see Andrew do it. Landing on the million-dollar wedge once might not be enough for Josh to call Andrew the luckiest spinner ever, so perhaps he does it more than once. It would be fantastic if he does it in both the regular game and the Bonus Round, and wins the $1 million. I hope Andrew becomes the next Celebrity Wheel of Fortune million-dollar winner.
