Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed had one of the most tumultuous relationships on Netflix's Taylor Haag and Daniel Hastings from season 8. Some couples, however, have the opposite effect.

A few couples have divorced after tying the knot on Love Is Blind. Two couples from Love Is Blind season 2 said "yes" as the altar, but both announced their divorces shortly after, meaning no couples from that season are still together. If the rumors are true and Matt and Colleen are getting divorced, they're in good company. However, the rumors are largely unfounded. Are Matt and Colleen still together?

Colleen and Matt's Journey On Love Is Blind

Their Decision To Marry Was Shocking

Matt and Colleen didn't have the same uncomplicated love story that many couples on Love Is Blind have. Matt wasn't Colleen's first choice in the pods; she had a strong connection with Cole Barnett, but he broke up with her when she wouldn't get deep with him in the pods. Cole instead proposed to Zanab Jaffrey, although the relationship didn't work out. Meanwhile, Matt had been hurt in previous relationships, causing him to lack trust in Colleen. It seemed like Colleen wanted to get engaged more than she wanted to be with Matt specifically.

Later, when Matt thought Colleen and Cole were flirting at a pool party, he had a meltdown. Matt's reaction to the pool party incident was disconcerting. It's normal for people to be attracted to multiple people, even when they're in a relationship. Plus, Colleen wasn't crossing any physical boundaries. Instead of talking through his feelings calmly and letting Colleen know what he expected from the relationship, he threatened to leave the show and her.

In one of the most shocking moments of Love Is Blind season 3, Matt and Colleen agreed to get married. On camera, their relationship seemed toxic. However, it's possible there was more to the relationship than the audience saw.

Colleen And Matt Had An Untraditional Marriage

They Didn't Make The Same Decisions Other Couples Make

At the Love Is Blind season 3 reunion, Matt and Colleen informed the audience and their fellow cast that they had yet to move in together. Despite being married, they wanted to move the relationship at their own pace. This was surprising news. After all, how could Matt and Colleen be ready for marriage but not ready to live together?

This announcement also led to speculation that Colleen was not happy in her marriage to Matt.

Was she living away from him in order to keep his distance? Matt and Colleen both claimed they were very happy in their relationship, and they've remained together. Finally, after two years of marriage, Matt and Colleen officially moved in together. It's possible the fans were always wrong about the duo's relationship. Maybe they've always been a strong couple. Alternatively, it's possible their marriage improved over time.

Did Matt and Colleen Break Up?

The Rumors Are Suspicious

On March 10, 2025, sbiz.cafex.biz released an article claiming Matt wanted out of his relationship with Colleen for a long time, and that the two had broken up. The article said that "according to sources close to the couple, tension between Matt and Colleen only grew after the cameras stopped rolling." However, these sources are never named. The article quotes Matt multiple times, but does not give any information as to where these quotes are coming from.

A few weeks before this suspicious article came out, Colleen gave an exclusive interview with Us Weekly where she noted the challenges she and Matt have overcome in their relationship. Colleen also said she has baby fever, but she's not sure Matt knows what it takes to raise a child. Although Colleen doesn't express happiness in her marriage, she and Matt were clearly still together when she gave the interview.

Until Matt and Colleen make an official announcement, it's safe to assume they are still married and together. While they may not have had the easiest Love Is Blind relationship, they've clearly made a marriage work in their own way. It's possible a divorce announcement is coming soon, but the rumors may be completely false.
