Sean Patrick Flanery confirms that production on The Boondock Saints 3 was officially announced in 2021, with both Flanery and Reedus returning. However, updates beyond that have been slow.

During a recent Q&A moderated by Screen Rant's own Jeff Heller, Flanery was asked if he could provide any additional information about part 3 of the franchise after Reedus confirmed to Screen Rant that the film was actually happening.
