The official James Bond Instagram shared a picture of Craig working out in the Pinewood Studios gym, wearing a walking boot on his injured ankle. Per the caption, the actor plans to return to the set next week for filming. Check it out in the space below:

One of the reasons why Bond 25 stayed on track is because director Cary Fukunaga and company continued shooting while Craig healed. Obviously, 007 is the star of the show, but odds are he won't be in every scene in the film. That made it possible to rework the shooting schedule so some of the non-Craig sequences could be completed during these last couple of weeks. Now, things will be able to return to normal. Craig's ankle must be in good shape if he's clear for filming; it goes without saying James Bond is a physically demanding role. Even though there are stunt doubles, Craig likes to do as much action as he can, and he has the medical bills to prove it (among his other injuries are losing teeth and the tip of his finger). It would perhaps be smart for Craig to take things easy in the beginning, but he shouldn't have too many limitations.

Hopefully, it'll be smooth sailing on Bond 25 from here. people are excited about Bond 25's on-paper potential and ideally it'll be the next great 007 adventure.
