Rescuing a Lost Toilet

Unlike most kids, Gene is incredibly excited to learn about child-rearing in his home economics class. Most likely because of how much he loves his mom, even if Linda does give some bad pieces of motherly advice. This excitement is short-lived as his clumsy behavior results in him dropping three "babies", completely covering him in flour.

Gene gains a chance for redemption when he stumbles upon a friendly stray talking toilet in the woods. This chance encounter leads Gene to protect his new bathroom buddy from the vile toilet hunter known as "Max Flush". This adventure ends with Max behind bars, the toilet safely delivered, and Gene learning a tough lesson about love and responsibility.

Gene has a ion for music and unique sounds that often goes unappreciated by those around him. While he feels that his sounds are amazing, they are dismissed by others as a nuisance and annoying.

Gene's feeling of being misunderstood leads him to sympathize with a plankton blob collected in the marina of the local yacht club. When he overhears plans to bleach the blob because it's unsightly, Gene launches a campaign to convince the yacht club otherwise. In the end, it's Gene's ability to create annoying sounds that saves the blob from being bleached.

The Belcher Children manage to successfully pull off the heist, but it comes at the cost of Gene's clothes and Rudy's beanbag chair. This adventure is one of the finest in Belcher history with plenty of twists, turns, and heart-pounding action. With episodes like this one, it's easy to see why Bob's Burgers has become so popular with both kids and adults.

After verbally berating a company chat representative bears no fruit, Gene infiltrates the factory through its daily tours and manages to plead his case to the owner. Gene continues to battle until he finally pleads his case to the board of executives. Although he fails to get the Chunky Blast Offs formula changed, Gene's true success is seeing his mission through to its conclusion.

Babysitting Louise

Even though Gene may be the older of the two siblings, Louise is often seen as more mature. After all, Louise is capable, thorough, and frequently outsmarts adults with her antics. On the other hand, Gene is generally aloof and most concerned with particular details surrounding fart sounds.

This proves to be a misconception when the two are left alone in the episode "Large Brother, Where Fart Thou?". After launching a moldy melon at local bully Logan, Gene has to step in to save his sister from receiving the horrifying "Reverse Norweigan Stinkhold". Gene may not be mature, but this adventure proved he's a pretty amazing big sibling to Louise.
