Black Widow will be Marvel's second female-led solo film, following in the steps of all-female Marvel movie, even if her character isn't involved. Since its start in 2008 with Iron Man, Marvel has taken major steps forward when it comes to representation and diversity. So, hopefully, Black Widow will be another successful step for the company.

Not only is it nice to hear Pugh gush about working on the film and what an incredible experience it was, but it definitely seems like Black Widow will be bringing more to the table than just a crazy amount of action. Knowing that the film will be grounded in such strong emotions shows that Shortland and the cast have cooked up something exciting for Marvel fans. Hopefully, a trailer will be released soon to help give anxiously-awaiting fans more of an idea as to what to expect from Black Widow before it hits theaters next year.
