As bosses hidden throughout the game. Luckily, Black Myth offers a New Game Plus mode that gives the Destined One access to all the loot and experience from their previous run, while also adding unique gear. Among the many great incentives to replay Black Myth are the mythical weapons the Destined One obtains near the end of the story, as well as three unique weapons that can only be crafted in NG+.
[Warning: Spoilers for Black Myth: Wukong.]
The Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff, Stormflash Loong Staff, and Dark Iron Staff can be crafted in NG+, assuming the Destined One has the required materials. While technically the Jingubang Staff is found near the end of the first run, it will get most of its use in NG+. Further, the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear can also be acquired in the first playthrough, but many players will have to complete the associated quest in NG+ due to the many secret areas involved. Here's how these unique NG+ Black Myth: Wukong weapons rank, where to find them, and how to put them to use.
5 Dark Iron Staff
The Dark Iron Staff is one of three craftable weapons exclusively found in NG+, and can be created after acquiring some difficult-to-find materials. It's unlikely players will have the necessary items if they have already built the Bull King Armor Set. The staff upgrade asks for four
Gold Tree Cores , mythical materials also used for crafting armor, dropped from tough bosses such as the Violet Spider and the Scorpionlord. Also needed are two of
The Bull King's Iron Horn , of which only four can be obtained per playthrough, and two
Kun Steel , another mythical material obtained from secret bosses.

Once crafted, this staff may seem slightly underwhelming with its relatively low 110 Attack and five Burn Resistance. However, its unique effect "considerably increases Attack based on Defense." When paired with the Defense-focused Bull King Armor Set, this staff is capable of dealing incredible amounts of damage. However, despite this set's high defense, Burn and Chill resistances, and Focus build-up, it does have a somewhat major caveat: players will sacrifice the ability to Perfect Dodge in place of Tenacity, a defensive ability that prevents being staggered. This armor combined with the Dark Iron Staff makes for an incredibly tanky build.
Will is not carried over to Wukong's New Game Plus, so you should spend as much Will as possible before starting the second cycle.
Because the staff by itself isn't all that great and others on the list have some incredible features, it ranks at the bottom. But don't be deceived - when used with each piece of the above armor set equipped, the Destined One can expect to see damage output doubled. For that reason, it's worth seeking out those pesky secret bosses to gather mythic materials for this unique NG+ staff.
4 Jingubang
Unlike the mythical NG+ weapons on this list, Jingubang can be acquired at the very end of the first playthrough after players have accessed the Somersault Cloud and defeated a handful of secret bosses. This is the only staff in the game that completes an armor set - the Monkey King set - and the Destined One will need to have all five pieces equipped to maximize Jingubang's effects. Upon starting a NG+ run, this will be a contender for best available armor and staff combination until other weapons on the list are acquired, so if players want a leg up in NG+, they'll want these equipped.

SET BONUS |
Heaven's Equal: For a short duration after casting a Spell, moderately increases Critical Hit Chance (3 Pieces Equipped). Upon Critical Hit, slightly reduces Cooldown for all Spells (Full Set). |
The Jingubang's unique effect allows the Destined One's fourth Focus Point not to be depleted over time, a very useful feature for any build type. However, the Heaven's Equal armor set bonus, which Jingubang completes, will be hard to up on players' first attempt at NG+. With three pieces equipped, the Destined One gets a moderate (yet impactful) increase to Critical Hit Chance, while all five pieces cause Critical Hits to reduce Cooldowns for all spells. The complete set allows players to take better advantage of the full range of spell options available, while also providing high defense.
At a certain point, being tied to this armor set starts to feel stifling, especially after acquiring different options during the NG+ run, such as the Stormflash Loong Staff below. It's a great transition staff from NG to NG+, but one that ultimately will be replaced by something a little flashier, depending on the player's preferences.
3 Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear
This mythical weapon can be acquired in the Destined One's first playthrough, but to do so requires tracking down several secret bosses that many players won't even realize exist until their second run. Further, the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear is the most viable Thrust-focused weapon in the game, and will be a feature in NG+ builds looking to integrate spear abilities into their Light attack combos. With a 135 Attack and 6% boost to Critical Hit Chance, this spear can do some serious Thrust Stance damage. The spear's unique effect also "shoots swords from the staff" when performing Forceful Thrust.

10 Hidden Features In Black Myth: Wukong You (Probably) Completely Missed
Black Myth: Wukong was a sensation when it first released, but there are a number of features that players may have completely missed when playing.
The challenge of obtaining this spear is its biggest downside, but the fact it can be acquired late in the first playthrough means it will be a prime candidate for the Destined One's weapon in the early NG+ chapters. It can also be equipped with virtually any gear, though the Golden Set is recommended due to its synergy with Critical Hits and Spirit Skills.
2 Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff
Another exclusive craftable in NG+, the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff requires overlapping rare materials as both the Dark Iron and Stormflash Loong staffs, with one exception - an even rarer material, the
Sky-Piercing Horn . Four of these are required, and there are only three available in a single playthrough. In the initial playthrough, the Destined One will need to defeat not only Fuban, the secret boss of Chapter 2, but also the Scorpionlord and the infamous Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master in Chapter 4. Then, they will need to defeat one of them again in NG+ for the fourth horn.

As with all these mythical weapons, the challenge of obtaining materials is worth it in the end. This staff touts a 25% Critical Hit Chance, making it an excellent staff for maximizing damage output. The unique effect also recovers Health when spending Focus on charged Heavy attacks, simultaneously "attacking enemies nearby with spines shooting from the staff." Because of its high Critical Hit percentage, this staff makes it possible to have over a 100% overall Critical Hit Chance when paired with the Monkey King Set and various crit-based buffs/debuffs like the Loong Aura Amplification Pellets and
Double-Combed Rooster Blood .
This staff ranks high in of overall damage dealt, and can be utilized in virtually any build. However, stacking Critical Hit Chance has a noticeable impact in combat, so if players invest Sparks strategically and take advantage of the optimal armor, Pills, Curios, and Soaks with complementary effects, the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff will inflict Critical Damage on nearly every hit.
1 Stormflash Loong Staff
This incredible mythical weapon, the Stormflash Loong Staff , is the final craftable weapon unique to NG+ and ranks at the top of the list because of its amazing Thunder effects, impressive Attack, and high Critical Hit Chance. Players can acquire this after collecting nine
Loong Pearls which are dropped from each of the Loong enemies (Red, Black, Cyan, and Yellow Loong) and Kang-Jin Star. Unfortunately, there are only five available on a playthrough, so if players miss any of these tough bosses on their first run, they'll have to do yet another playthrough to acquire all the necessary materials.

The Stormflash Loong's unique effect "draws Thunder while charging, and inflicts Thunder Damage with every staff attack when in Shocked State." This means it synergizes well with items like the Wind Tamer Vessel and the Loongscale Set, which inflicts Thunder Bane and increases Thunder damage. Thunder can be taken advantage of especially well with the Pillar Stance move set, and with this staff's reliance on charged heavy attacks, players will see Thunder buildup quickly, giving them a much-needed edge in NG+ playthroughs. Overall, the Stormflash Loong's unique ability, when optimized and triggered correctly, ranks at the top of the list.
These five weapons will be pillars of a successful NG+ playthrough, and are worthwhile rewards for taking on the game's incredibly difficult bosses a second or third time. All of these mythical weapons are viable with a range of build types, and players should experiment with what works best against each specific boss. The bosses in Black Myth: Wukong are unique and require nuanced tactics, but as players advance through NG+ and future attempts at the game, they'll likely land on a favorite weapon of choice for the Destined One.
