Season 22 of Big Brother is on its way and fans are reeling from the first episode. During the premiere, the cast was revealed leaving fans excited to see the way the season plays out. Julie Chen explained that each houseguest going into the game has something to prove. The cast is a combination of former winners, lovable personalities, runner-ups, and some players that were evicted way too soon.
While fans are overall happy with the reveal of the cast, there are several Big Brother greats missing from the season. In fact, many of the greats not in the game have been memorialized on the walls of the house with murals acknowledging their legacy. Though fans are excited to see what this cast will do, here are some of the former houseguests who definitely should have been included in this season.
Eric Stein
Eric entered the game in Big Brother 8 as part of a twist known as America's Player. Each week, America would vote on tasks that Eric would have to complete while trying to avoid being evicted from the house.
Though carrying out these tasks should have put an immediate target on Eric's back, he proved to be a master manipulator, completing 20 out of the 28 tasks he was given. Despite not being able to make his own decisions, Eric was able to make it all of the way to the final 5. Fans would have loved to see what this player could do if playing his own game.
Steve Moses
Big Brother 17 winner Steve Moses definitely would have fit in well with the theme of this season. Similarly to Nicole Franzel and Ian Terry, Steve isn't always given the credit he deserves for his win.
Though a bit socially awkward, Steve managed to work his way into the ruling alliance of his season. He proved to be an extremely strategic player, carefully positioning himself in the house and forming relationships outside of his alliance. Though Steve laid low at the beginning of the game, he turned up his wins towards the end, winning a total of 4 HOH competitions and 2 POVs.
Paul
Many fans believe that Paul was robbed both times he played the game, coming in second place two years in a row. During both of his seasons, Paul had a lot of control. He won a total of 6 HOHs and 8 POVs during his two seasons.
But Paul's power didn't end when he wasn't in power as he strategically formed alliances and manipulated others in the house -- especially in his second season. Many wonder how this loud-mouthed houseguest would have fared in a house full of returners.
Rachel Reilly
Rachel is ed for her explosive personality and showmance with now-husband Brendon. This memorable houseguest has played Big Brother twice and said one of the most quoted lines in all of Big Brother history.
Though Rachel's personality is certainly entertaining, she is also a solid competitor. During her two seasons, she won a total of 6 HOHs and 2 vetos. Despite being a constant threat on both seasons of her show, Rachel went on to win the game her second time playing, securing her place in Big Brother history.
Mike Boogie
Mike Boogie has played the Big Brother game 3 times and had a hand in some of the most memorable moments in Big Brother history. He even competed on the first Big Brother: All-Stars 14 years ago.
Boogie is mainly ed for his strong social game, using his relationships and words to get himself out of difficult situations. Although Boogie has clearly made his mark in Big Brother, it is no surprise he wasn't welcomed back due to several problematic behaviors he has demonstrated in recent years.
Derrick
The fandom is split with Derrick. While many believe him to be one of the strongest players in Big Brother history, many argue that his gameplay partially worked due to a weak cast. This seemingly would have made Derrick a perfect addition to this cast as he would be given the opportunity to prove that he can manipulate others even in a cast of all-stars.
During his appearance on Big Brother 16, Derrick managed to form a powerful alliance that protected him from ever being nominated for eviction. He also won 4 HOH competitions, evicting houseguests while still managing to secure their vote in the finale, winning 7 - 0.
Dr. Will
Dr. Will was the first master manipulator to ever play Big Brother. His approach to the game instantly earned him a place in history and impacted the way many future houseguests would play.
After winning his first season, he returned for Big Brother: All-Stars where he placed 4th. Despite never winning a competition in the game, Will had a major influence over the events of both of his seasons.
Danielle Reyes
Danielle Reyes is considered by many to be the best Big Brother player to never win. During season 3, she formed a secret alliance with Jason, and together, the pair masterminded the eviction of almost every houseguest. She came in second place during her season, losing after her former houseguests went home and watched her savage diary room sessions before casting their votes to evict.
Due to many fans feeling that she was robbed of a win, Danielle was brought back for Big Brother: All-Stars where she placed 6th due to the extremely large target on her back.
Vanessa
Vanessa is considered one of the best players in recent season. This BB17 player was cut at the final 3 as it was known she would win had she made it to the final 3. Vanessa played an all-around great game. She formed a major alliance and controlled most of the evictions in the house. Vanessa also proved to be a competition beast, winning 4 HOHs and 3 vetos.
Vanessa was not afraid to make big moves and often favored high-risk high-reward moves. Vanessa pulled off several major blindsides during her season without losing the of her fellow players, proving just how impressive her game was. Though Vanessa was definitely invited back, it seems her three infants at home kept her from appearing on the season.
Dan
Dan Gheesling is a Big Brother legend. After winning the game on his first season, he came in second on his second season. Dan is a master manipulator and is ed for making several flashy big moves in the game.
Despite throwing multiple competitions on both of his seasons, Dan has proved that when he needs to win he can and has a total of 4 HOH wins and 3 veto wins. Whenever Dan is in the house, fans know they are in for a wild season and that is why many fans were hoping that this Big Brother great would be on Big Brother: All-Stars.
