Each year, a hopeful new group of individuals moves into the Big Brother house. Each houseguest is hoping to win the grand prize, half a million dollars. Though the format of the show is what made it popular, the houseguests are what truly drive each season. How well a season is perceived has a lot to do with the contestants competing on that season.

The cast of Big Brother 19 was widely criticized for having one of the weakest casts in recent seasons. Besides many of the cast being generally dislikable people, there were also very few players who seemed focused on trying to win the game. So which of these unlikeable houseguests earned some favor with fans? Here is the cast from least likable to most likable.

Jason

Fans who watch the live feeds often have a very different view of the houseguests than those who only watch the edited show. This is because many of the houseguests' interactions do not make the final cut. Fans watching the feeds were disgusted when Jason started making terrible jokes about women, including the wives of other housemates.

Jason was also involved in a conversation where several of the houseguests were talking negatively about former houseguest Audrey Middleton and making transphobic remarks. This conversation had fans livid and many called for Jason and the others involved in the conversation to be removed from the show.

Cody

In the beginning weeks of season 19, Cody was the most hated houseguest. He was arrogant, he was brash, and he made several off-color comments. Cody was also involved in the transphobic conversation in the house. Even after being evicted, Cody defended his remarks and continued to make derogatory comments.

In a bizarre turn of events, fans grew so annoyed with several of the other houseguests that they ended up enjoying Cody because he seemed to dislike his fellow houseguests as much as America did. This resulted in Cody winning America's Favorite Houseguest with half of the fandom rejoicing and half furious. Even with this win secured, no one will argue that Cody is a likable person.

Raven

There was much controversy surrounding Raven during her season. This contestant regularly spoke about a number of rare medical conditions she had. Many fans believed there to be inconsistencies in her story and began claiming that Raven was a compulsive liar.

The hashtag RavenExposeParty began trending online as fans blasted Raven and pointed out discrepancies in her claims.

Megan

Fans didn't get to know Megan very well. That is because she self-evicted shortly after the game began. Though many speculated as to the reason behind her choice, Megan, a Navy veteran, later revealed that she left due to her PTSD.

Her PTSD, which was connected to an assault she experienced, was triggered by being targetted and screamed at by several male players in the house. This gained Megan sympathy with fans though they didn't have much of a chance to grow to like or dislike her.

Cameron

Cameron from Big Brother

After spending only 11 hours in the house, Cameron was the first player eliminated due to a twist in the game. Cameron was a Big Brother superfan and had planned to play a mastermind game.

Though Cameron fit the "nerd" stereotype, he also proved he would have been able to win competitions when he won the first part of the Battle Back competition. Unfortunately, fans never got to see Cameron's true potential.

Jillian

Jillian quickly began to form bonds in the house. She and several other players formed an alliance called "The Oddballs."  The alliance consisted of Jillian, Alex, Megan, and Ramses and took a hit when Megan decided to leave the game.

Fans love to root for underdogs, but Jillian didn't do much to gain their . Even when on the block, Jillian did little to save herself and was shocked when she was evicted instead of Christmas, the intended target.

Josh

Josh is a houseguest that fans love to hate. He is ed for started fights with other houseguests and banging pots and pans. Many found Josh to be annoying, both because he was loud and emotional.

After picking fights with other houseguests, Josh would often begin to cry when they lashed out in defense. He had little self-awareness and often talked highly of himself, leaving fans rolling their eyes.

Ramses

Ramses is another member of The Oddballs alliance who was quickly evicted from the game. While in the house, he formed a close relationship with fellow houseguest Kevin.

These two had a father/son dynamic and fans found their relationship endearing. Ramses fell victim to a blindside when Paul flipped the house to keep Josh instead of Ramses.

Dominique

Dominique was originally part of a strong alliance with several showmances. When the house divided with Paul and Cody targeting each other, Dominique abandoned her alliance and decided to work with Paul, targeting Cody and Jessica. Cody then convinced Paul that Dominique was part of the plan to nominate him the previous week.

This led to Dominque being targetted directly after Cody left the house. Dominique's best moment in the season came when she called out Paul and Elena, referring to them as snakes. This led Paul to harass her, dres like a snake and making hissing noises as her. Dominique did not back down and continued to try and blow up Paul's game until she was evicted; at least she provided some entertainment on the way out.

Matt

Matt was a laid back player who didn't do much in the game. This player was so dull that they created an entire segment surrounding his love of cereal.

Like many players in season 19, Matt blindly followed Paul's lead without thinking for himself. His showmance with Raven disgusted many fans. Fan's frustration continued to grow when Matt decided to sacrifice his game for Raven, intentionally earning himself a penalty vote when against her on the block. His apathy towards the game left many wishing he had never been cast.
