Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe premiered exclusively on Paramount Plus on June 23rd, so many fans, both new and old, have taken it upon themselves to watch the original series in preparation for the film.
Call-back references to its precursors are certainly refreshing to see. From hilarious one-liners to raunchy escapades of humor, Beavis and Butt-head excels at entertaining the immature teen inside all of its viewers. During its many years on MTV, the series has gathered more than its fair share of iconic moments and quotes, but which have stuck with the show's audience the most throughout the years?
“I’ve Got A Rock Formation In My Pants.”
Butt-head Makes A Poop Joke
Opening with Beavis and Butt-head going on a hiking field trip for school, their teacher warns the class that despite the beautiful views and rock formations, the hike will be quite the workout.
Butt-head replies with the above quote, laughing dumbly along with Beavis as the bus is hitting bumps and moving closer to its destination. The pair of boys’ raunchy, immature humor refuses to rest, as every one of their teachers, peers, neighbors, and faithful show viewers knows.
“Hello, Yeah, I'd Like To Order One Of Those... Pubic... Zercroniums.”
Beavis Calls An Infomercial Number
After watching an ment for a new karat gold Cubic Zirconium on the TV, Beavis brings it upon himself to immediately call the number and say Cubic Zirconium so horribly wrong.
The person on the other end of the line must’ve dropped their jaw once they heard this quote. Of course, this is unsurprisingly one of the tamer pranks that have been executed by Beavis and his best friend. The funny flip side of the quote is that Beavis would never be able to afford the jewelry anyway.
“If They Did This Chart Long Enough, They Would Find Out Where Herpes Began.”
Butt-head Has A Good Point
Beavis and Butt-head rip on one of the best Jersey Shore episodes in which one of the girls creates a big chart of all the people she has ever hooked up with.
The show Jersey Shore is made fun of multiple times within the series. Laughing at this, Butt-head stumbles upon a realization, then exclaims this great quote. Although it is quite a bit of a stretch, the saying goes to show how MTV wasn't afraid to make fun of itself. The stars of Jersey Shore were unquestionably a priceless and comedic staple of the network.
“This Bowling Ball Isn't Human! It Doesn't Feel Pain! It Can't Be Reasoned With!”
Butt-head Has A Realization
In the scene where this quote originates, Beavis and Butt-head are shown in a parking lot holding one bowling ball together and preparing to chuck it into the air as high as they possibly can.
A moment later, the ball flies up as the two laugh, and then quakes the ground as it hits, half of it creating a crater and burying partway in the pavement. Beavis and Butt-head continue laughing and then Butt-head comes out of left field with this ridiculous quote as if he’s concluding a hypothesis.
"My List Includes Any Girl With At Least One Boob"
Butt-head Isn't Picky
Beavis and Butt-head are notorious for talking adamantly about how they want to “score with chicks” but this time, they’re making it perfectly clear that they aren’t picky about women in the slightest.
To this Butt-head, Beavis then replies, “My list is like your list, but it also includes your mom.” Predictably, their classic brainless laughter ensues, proving once again that they have no filter when it comes to “getting chicks.” Luckily, they aren’t known for being very good at it, either.

The Boys Make A Rather Odd Request
In the classic episode that addresses the cultural obsession of the fan-favorite Twilight franchise during the early 2000s, Van Driessen hints that women are sexually attracted to werewolves and vampires.
In response, Beavis and Butt-head approach a homeless man whom they believe to be a werewolf, prompting Butt-head to ask if he would bite them so they could get girls. This mistake is hysterical, landing them in the hospital and leading to another unbelievable yet fitting quote.

A Nurse Tells It Like It Is
In one of the best episodes of Beavis and Butt-head, they are comatose in the hospital after a homeless man bites them, a nurse tending them says this with great dread in her voice.
Who could blame her? The nurse should consider herself lucky that the thick-headed teens were unconscious during the ordeal, or else she may have had to restrain them and duck-tape their mouths to get any tests or x-rays done on the two. Though, it would be fascinatingly entertaining to see their reactions to the event.

Butt-head Turns On The Charm
Butt-Head prays on an unsuspecting fellow moviegoer during an airing of Twilight in this amazing quote in arguably Beavis and Butt-head's funniest tame moment.
However, it looks like he won't be getting the girl this time. After giggling and telling Beavis to “watch this,” Butt-head leans over and whispers the quote into a woman’s ear. Without hesitation, the woman slaps Butt-head directly in the face. Little does she know; he might be more romantic than Edward and Jacob combined with this line.
"You Know, These Dudes Are Pretty Cool For A Bunch Of Mimes."
Beavis And Butt-head Enjoy A Kiss Music Video
What may arguably be the funniest description of the band Kiss to date, Butt-head speaks his mind alongside Beavis in response to the music video for "I Love It Loud" by Kiss they are watching.
Despite the backhanded compliment given by Butt-head, the duo actually does think the musicians are cool, especially Gene Simmons for his comically large tongue. The show having originally been planned to just be short clips of them roasting and commenting on various MTV music videos is apparent with this quote.
"I Am The Great Cornholio, I need T.P. For My Bunghole!"

Debatably the most memorable quote in all of Beavis and Butt-head history, the episode unfolds with the best friends going to Stewart's house. For dinner, Stewart’s mother makes some unappealing and stomach-punishing burritos.
The two then raid the kitchen of anything sweet and go on a sugar rush, causing the development of Beavis’ legendary AlterEgo that not even Butt-head can control, the Great Cornholio. This persona comes out dozens of times throughout the series and always proves to leave a smile on the faces of every Beavis and Butt-head fan.
