Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, there have been plenty of new faces aboard Parsifal III who have been trying to make a name for themselves as Below Deck yachties. With Danni ing the crew with fellow Diana Cruz and working beneath longtime Below Deck Sailing Yacht Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, things haven’t been easy as the charter season has gotten started.
Despite some major issues between the interior team thus far in the season, issues between Danni and one of her fellow yachties has been more prevalent. While things haven’t been as dramatic between Danni and deckhand Keith, it’s possible they could get to a difficult point if the tides don’t turn soon. While Danni hasn’t been around First Officer Gary King for long, she’s adopted some of his pushy behavior when it comes to flirting around with the rest of the crew and struggling to understand that being unprofessional when it comes to a boatmance is out of the question.
Danni & Keith Are Both New To The Below Deck Franchise
The Yachties Don’t Know The Dangers Of A Boatmance
Although Danni and Keith both seem to know their way around the sailing yacht, they’re new to the Below Deck franchise and seem to have an interest in sticking around. While Keith is working with the exterior team, Danni’s on the interior, which means they don’t necessarily interact as much as some of the other yachties. Keith’s a deckhand, working closely with Gary and the rest of the exterior crew to ensure the safety of the vessel and the charter guests.

Danni, on the other hand, works on the interior team alongside Diana, serving the guests and ensuring their stay aboard Parsifal III. Both stews work beneath Daisy, who’s been having a tough season after the drama of the previous charter season and the show’s last reunion. While Keith and Danni are both new, they’re not new enough to the yachting industry to be blind to the damage that a boatmance can do to their careers.
Danni’s Attempts At Flirting With Keith In Front Of Guests Were Cringe
She’s Not Getting The Response She Wants
Although Danni has been open about the fact that she’s interested in Keith, it’s been cringe to watch her flirt with the deckhand knowing that he’s not interested in playing along with her games in front of the charter guests. While Danni has been clear that she’s interested in Keith, her flirtation tactics have been unsuccessful as she’s worked hard to make herself interesting to the deckhand while they’re working. Keith’s disinterest in Danni while the guests were around was minimal, as he was working hard to maintain his professionalism. Danni’s choice to be unprofessional was an odd one.
Danni Is Being Too Pushy When Keith Has Already Shut Her Down
She’s Being Disrespectful Of Him
Although Danni was hopeful that Keith would play into her flirtation while the guests were around, Keith held his ground and let her know that he wasn’t interested in being unprofessional. Danni’s attempts to continue her flirtatious behavior were cringe, and she was too pushy for Below Deck standards. While it was clear she was hoping Keith would play along, being disrespectful of his boundaries once he shut her down wasn’t the best look. Seeing Danni choose to push Keith after he told her no has made viewers wonder if she should be a mainstay on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
