Luke Jones snuck into stew Margot Sisson's room without clothes on while she was sleeping. The Bosun attempted to touch her inappropriately, and a producer intervened by removing him from Margot's cabin, as he repeatedly slammed the door in their face. Luke was immediately removed from the boat the next day.

After the Below Deck Down Under episode aired, Captain Jason and Chief Stew Aesha Scott received a lot of praise for stepping up and doing the right thing to protect their crew . On Instagram, Captain Jason shared a heartfelt message with fans. "I've had a flood of messages over the last 24 hours from people in similar situations. Some not so lucky of the outcome, so my heart goes out to them," he shared in the video post.

Captain Jason made sure to give credit to the Below Deck Down Under production team, who played a big part in stopping the situation from getting worse. "I'd like to thank the production team for breaking the fourth wall and stepping in. Then, reforming and allowing Aesha to come to me in an authentic manner," he added.

Along with a video, Captain Jason included a lengthy caption with the Instagram post, sharing his feelings about what happened. "Thank you for all the lovely messages and I have great sympathy for the messages for those that were triggered by these episodes," he wrote. Captain Jason once again thanked the production team and indirectly addressed fired crew Luke and stew Laura Bileskalne by saying, "I sincerely hope that all parties involved use this time to reflect and use this opportunity to not only change, but help others." The Below Deck Down Under Captain ended the post by reminding his followers to respect boundaries.

While there have been many serious incidents that have occurred in the Below Deck franchise, the situation with Luke and Margot may one of the worst ones yet. Even though Below Deck Down Under is a reality show that is supposed to be entertaining to watch, crew sometimes show unexpected behavior that could lead to them being fired from their job. Luckily, crew like Aesha and Captain Jason, along with the show's production team, were able to get involved before Margot was put in danger.

Now that Luke and Laura have been fired from The Northern Sun, hopefully they will be replaced with crew who are kinder and more respectful of their coworkers' personal space. This situation definitely shook Below Deck Down Under season 2 to its core, but it's unclear if the rest of the charter season will be smooth sailing from here. Both Captain Jason and Aesha will have to keep an eye on the crew to make sure they don't violate the rules of the boat.
