Captain Lee Rosbach from Below Deck does not take Captain Sandy Yawn’s help for granted, as he recently expressed his gratitude to her. For over three decades, Captain Lee has been in the yachting profession. He was born and bred in the landlocked state of Michigan, but during his time running restaurants in Turks and Caicos, he discovered his hidden love of the water. Captain Lee's temporary departure has left both the crew and Below Deck fans pretty sad.
Below Deck Mediterranean star, who took over for him. Lee noted that taking over the role of a captain and his boat was not easy before adding that he had put Sandy in a very difficult situation.
Below Deck's Captain Lee Praises Captain Sandy’s Personality
Captain Lee not only expressed how grateful he was to Sandy but also praised her personality. He confessed that Sandy was willing to come on board immediately and do all that he instructed her to do without complaining. Her act was a big deal to the 73-year-old captain, which is why he praised her, saying, “For her to step forward and take it on says a lot about her.” Upon Captain Sandy’s arrival to replace Lee, he thanked Sandy for coming on short notice and promised to be on his feet as soon as he could. Captain Sandy, on the other hand, was more than happy to help, as she itted that she only hoped that Lee felt ed.
When the Bravo reality star, who also has one of the most beloved personalities, broke the news of his departure from Below Deck, he left the cast and fans at home in tears. Captain Lee, who had previously undergone back surgery, was having trouble recovering while aboard, which forced him to make the difficult choice to leave the boat. While it was a difficult choice for him, it was certainly the best decision.
Captain Lee has been one of the fans' favorites since Below Deck debuted in 2013. While he is well replaced by Captain Sandy, his crew and fans are very much anticipating his return. Thankfully, he has promised his crew that he will be back on Below Deck before the end of the season. Captain Lee is currently having extensive physical therapy that will help him strengthen his muscles in order to compensate for the nerve damage. Hopefully, he will be back sooner than expected.
