The design of the duo is iconic, which is likely why Beavis and Butt-Head returned to Paramount+ in cartoon form when it was revived in 2022. If those same designs were translated into a live-action project, it would end up looking unintentionally creepy, which wouldn't mesh with the show's comedic tone.

Even so, creator Mike Judge said a live-action Beavis and Butt-Head could happen back in 2016, opening the door for a possible change of medium for the pair.
