get a head start on the new challenges. In the meantime, players can continue to complete quests, earn gear, and raise their light levels. They can still unlock more lore that will be beneficial in seasons and give players triumphs.
The Exodus quest line was intended to be the bridge between the Season of Arrivals and Beyond Light. It will provide some information that will lead up to the events of the next season. Evacuation is the final quest in the Exodus questline. There are multiple steps that players will need to complete. The first half of the Exodus questline, Exodus: Preparation, was made available to players on July 7, 2020. The Exodus: Evacuation quest isn’t available to players yet, but the details and tasks that must be completed have been datamined. Players will need to interact with important NPC’s to relay orders to evacuate from Zavala on Io, Titan, Mercury, and Mars. Many of the NPC’s will ask the player to complete tasks for them and to relay messages between them before departing. There are 12 parts to the Exodus: Evacuation quest that we know of so far.
How to Beat the Exodus: Evacuation Quest in Destiny 2
To start the quest, players will have to speak to Asher Mir on Io after completing the Preparation phase of the questline. Before he can evacuate the area, he will need the player to help him complete a few tasks first. Players will have to visit multiple different locations to complete the quest. The reward for the Exodus: Evacuation Quest is the Traveler's Chosen, a powerful weapon that will raise the player’s light level.
Observer Effect
Players will need to collect a sample from a Taken Phalanx Barrism in a Lost Sector, which can be done in the Sanctum of Bones. They will also need to run through the sector and grab the chest at the end. After this step, they will also have to collect Traces of Corruption by killing Taken on Io.
Into the Pyramidion
There are two more tasks that will need to be completed after collecting the samples. Go to the Director menu and run the Pyramidion strike. Players will need to pick up dropped Scan Traces from Vex they have defeated. They can also pick these up from Vex anywhere on Io.
Double Blind
To finish up Asher’s tasks, players will need to complete the Unexpected Guests heroic adventure. Players will need to collapse energy portals while fighting Taken and Iraz, Eye of Savathun. Iraz will use a void shield, so a void power weapon will help the player out greatly in this part of the quest. After defeating Iraz, players will speak with Asher. They will then need to go to Titan to speak to Commander Sloane.
Clearing the Decks
Near Sloane and the Siren’s Watch, there is the Methane Flush Lost Sector. Players will need to run this area. Defeat Hive Knight Dek-Thra in this area and open the chest to move on to the next part of the quest.
Asset Interception
Players will need to collect Golden Age Technology in the Hive. They will need to open chests in the Solarium and Festering halls guarded by Hive Ultras.
Be the Wall
In this step of the quest, players will need to go back to Savathun’s Song. They will have to take out Knights, Wizards, and Hive Ogres on Titan to collect Tech fragments. Then, they can go to Mercury to speak to Brother Vance.
A Shattered Future
Vance will have players complete strikes, such as A Garden World. This strike can be accessed from the Director menu. They will also have to collect Timeline Fractures from Hydras, Cyclops, and Minotaurs on Mercury.
In His Footsteps
Players will need to complete the Tree of Probabilities strike, and collect Traces of Osiris from Cabal on Mercury. They will need to walk away with 40 Traces of Osiris.
A Disciple’s Plea
Players will need to finish the Bug in the System heroic adventure in the Infinite Forest. They will need to disable a security banner, defeat waves of Hive, and Proxy, Herald of Savathun. After defeating this boss, players can talk to Brother Vance to get a D.F.A. and then travel to Mars to speak with Ana Bray.
Signs of Life
Players will need to travel to the Mindlab: Rasputin zone after speaking to Ana. Here, they will search for a signal from Rasputin.
Recycled Components
Players will need to participate in the Escalation Protocol public event to defeat bosses and collect some of Rasputin’s frame.
Signal Shielding
Players will need to complete the Deathly Tremors heroic adventure. This is one of the easier adventures. After completing this task, players will talk to Ana to turn them in and go back to the Tower to relay messages to Zavala.
After speaking to Zavala, players will collect the exotic sidearm, Traveler’s Chosen, and will unlock the Exodus: Evacuation triumph. If players already have the Witherhoard and Ruinous Effigy, the Exotic Arsenal triumph will unlock as well. But for now, the Traveler’s Chosen will remain out of reach to players until the Exodus: Evacuation quest is unlocked in Destiny 2.
