Once deployed, the wingsuit uses the traditional flight controls to steer, keeping it familiar so there isn't a huge learning curve when playing Sundance. Landing is also pretty simple since it seems so far that players don't take much fall damage, if any, while using the wingsuit. So, to land, players can just aim their suit toward the spot on the ground where they'd like to land and just allow Sundance to make with the ground and roll to safety.
This ability can make the game much easier, especially when navigating Battlefield 2042's skyscrapers, which have given many players trouble when trying to complete objectives. There are many objectives placed in areas that are tougher to reach, making Sundance a useful pick. Even in less objective-heavy game modes, like Conquest, Sundance's ability to set Insertion Beacons in more diverse locations can give teams an upper hand.
