Warning! Spoilers for Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #4 by DC Comics

Trapped in a 'perfect' world created by Pariah, Batman gets a new costume that is created from the tragedy he experienced in his life. In Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #4 by DC Comics, The Flash and Green Lantern arrive in the constructed reality Pariah created to siphon power from The Dark Knight. When the heroes come face-to-face with Batman, they see the hero like never before.

The greatest heroes in the DC Universe didn't actually die during The Death of the Justice League; instead, they were transferred to a 'perfect' world that was an illusion where Pariah could siphon their powers to fuel his dark plans for the multiverse. The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Superman were among the heroes unwillingly trapped in the constructed worlds, without realizing that it was all a mirage. Now, DC Comics is revealing Batman's fake world, which, unlike his fellow heroes, is much darker - as he gets a new costume to match the setting.

In Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #4 by Joshua Williamson, Daniel Sampere, Alejandro Sanchez, and Tom Napolitano from DC Comics, Barry Allen and Hal Jordan travel from the Green Lantern's constructed world to Batman's fake reality. The 'perfect' world for The Dark Knight is Gotham but even more retro, as The Flash reveals he tried to free Batman before. As Allen begins his battle with his opponent, Batman emerges from the shadow, showing off a brand-new costume that completes his tragic makeover.

Batman New Costume Dark Crisis DC

The tragic new reality gives Batman a costume fitting of the fake world, as like the old-timey Gotham City the hero has been stuck in, the unique look is incredibly retro. With a metal cowl, a disheveled cape, and a gear replacing his iconic logo, Batman's new costume is representative of the world he's inhabiting. Completing the costume is Batman's new Batarangs, as he trades the iconic weapon for a sharp gear. The look is part steampunk and part retro Gotham. It is Batman stripped down in an all-new way.

Unfortunately for The Flash and Green Lantern, stopping Batman is the least of their problems. As Barry Allen attempts to save Batman from the dark world he's stuck in, Pariah creates a new Multiverse with the powers he's siphoned off the hero. So, while taking on Batman in his new tragic costume is difficult, once they free the hero and gain another ally in the fight against Pariah, things are about to get even more challenging for DC's greatest heroes.
