What Batman's Green Lantern Ring Fan Art Means For The Snyderverse
Ben Affleck's Batman Could Have Wielded The Green Lantern Ring In The Snyderverse's Knightmare Timeline
Zack Snyder's Justice League suggests that although reversible, the Snyderverse's Knightmare timeline was inevitable. Powerful heroes like Aquaman and Wonder Woman would die, while characters like Deathstroke, the Joker, and Mera would survive long enough to rebel against Superman and Darkseid. Zack Snyder's Justice League was originally going to feature John Stewart, who was going to arrive on Earth to meet Batman. Therefore, a Justice League sequel could have seen Ben Affleck's Batman inherit the Green Lantern ring from a fallen John Stewart to fight Superman in the Knightmare future.

Even The Most Criticized Version Of DCEU’s Justice League Cut The Original Script’s Worst Moment
One deleted element of Zack Snyder's Justice League was too controversial to appear in any version of the DCEU film.
Zack Snyder's canceled plans for the Snyderverse included Justice League 2 and Justice League 3, where Batman and the Justice League were going to discover that they only postponed and changed Knightmare, requiring different sacrifices this time around. So, instead of Deathstroke, the Joker, Mera, Flash, and Cyborg, Batman's allies in the new Knightmare timeline could have included characters such as John Stewart, Kilowog, and Martian Manhunter.
Our Take On The Green Lantern Batman Fan Art
Zack Snyder's Plans For The DCEU Offered Many Wild Possibilities
According to Zack Snyder's five-movie plan, the Snyderverse would have ended with Batman's sacrifice and the Earth's definitive escape from the Knightmare timeline. However, Zack Snyder's plans didn't consider the release of multiple DCEU movies like Aquaman, Shazam!, Black Adam, and The Flash, which introduced characters who could have survived the Knightmare future and made ceratin Justice League stronger than their Knightmare counterparts. By the time the Knightmare scenario took place, many unexpected events could have happened, including Batman earning the Green Lantern ring.

DC Universe Theory: James Gunn Is Using This Dark Green Lantern Story For Crossover Event
The DC Universe's Lanterns show could secretly set up the live-action adaptation of a massive comic book event centered around the Green Lanterns.
The DCEU is the first big-screen DC franchise to place different heroes and villains in the same universe, and its cancelation meant that ambitious events like the Snyderverse's Knightmare future wouldn't materialize. However, the DCU offers a new chance to see similar events. For instance, the DCU's Lanterns series starring John Stewart and Hal Jordan might set up a brand-new overarching storyline for the DCU, and The Brave and the Bold's Batman could cross paths with the Green Lanterns sooner rather than later.
