In a stunning new piece of fan art, Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia gets an incredibly detailed sculpt recreation that shows the hero in action. In the sculpture, which initially was intended to be a licensed statue before controversy regarding the series in China canceled the project, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight strikes a menacing pose as he unleashes his Quirk.
Katsuki Bakugo is introduced in the world of as the former bully of Izuku Midoriya and the character's greatest rival. Bakugo has the Quirk, which gives him nitroglycerin-like sweat that he can use to create massive explosions. It allows the U.A. student to use several Super Moves, including Explosive Speed, Stun Grenade, and his strongest move, the Howitzer Impact. However, overuse of his Quirk can tire the hero out. Bakugo's hero name is incredible, as he goes by Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, which is a fitting moniker given his Quirk. Bakugo's hero costume consists of two large grenade-themed gauntlets as well as a silver neck brace, an orange X across the chest, and multiple defensive and offensive tactical gear.
On his The "fan art" shows Bakugo striking an action-packed pose as he gets ready for a powerful attack. The sculpt showcases Bakugo's costume, weapons, and powers in incredible detail.
The amazing sculpt from @fabianocarlosart is considered fan art because it wasn't used after being licensed as an official My Hero Academia statue. The statue never came out My Hero Academia would change the character's name.
It's too bad the My Hero Academia statue never made it to the market, as it's an incredible sculpt by @fabianocarlosart of Bakugo in all of his glory. Still, we're glad that he finally decided to release the piece as fan art, as it's too good not to share. My Hero Academia's Bakugo has rarely looked better as the statue perfectly captures the character's powers and personality.
