Former Tayshia formally addressed Bachelor Nation about their split on the Men Tell All episode of Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette. She has since cut ties with the franchise, which included leaving the official Bachelor podcast Clickbait, to pursue other opportunities.

Tayshia and Zac's love story seemed like a fairytale. The former Clickbait podcast host stepped into The Bachelorette role after Clare Crawley's whirlwind romance and engagement to Dale Moss. During the fall of 2020, Tayshia and Zac hit it off, and her season ended with one of the most romantic proposals in Bachelor history. Even though they had their differences, from living on different coasts to Zac's sobriety, their loving Instagram interactions post-Bachelorette had Zayshia fans convinced their relationship would lead them to the altar. But break-up rumors sent shockwaves through Bachelor Nation as Tayshia was spotted without her engagement ring. Where there was smoke, there was fire: It was confirmed Tayshia and Zac were "no longer a couple" in November 2021. At the Men Tell All soon after, Tayshia vaguely spoke about their break-up. “All I have to say is that I’m heartbroken. But we tried really hard and I still love him very much and I’m not sure what the future holds.”

But the couple's split hasn't meant they have "cut each other out of their lives completely." According to a Us Weekly source, “There are some lingering matters between them that haven’t been resolved yet. They were working on projects together, planning things, and it seems like there isn’t closure yet.” Zac still "gets a bit emotional" when speaking about his former fiancée as he is still trying to "move on from the bond she had with his family and friends." But with Tayshia not being "very responsive," Zac isn't trying to win his fiancée back, and both are attempting to move forward.

Zac Clark Engaged Winner Tayshia Adams In The Bachelorette

As with all Bachelor break-ups, with only little crumbs of information, fans have attempted to piece together what caused Zayshia to part ways. Immediately after their engagement, Tayshia became the co-host of Bachelorette 17 and 18, an opportunity she couldn't up. Fans speculated her busy work schedule might've put a strain on their fresh relationship. The former Bachelorette has continued to grow her following on Instagram, which has led to her frequently traveling and attending many social events, which might've not been a lifestyle match with Zac's sobriety and non-profit work based in New York.

Fans may never know what truly caused the split between The Bachelorette couple, but it seems reality has burst The Bachelor bubble they fell in love in. But with no bad blood between the two and communication lines open, there may be a small glimmer of hope for a future make-up. For now, Tayshia is no longer in a successful Bachelor relationship and has said goodbye to The Bachelor franchise, so fans shouldn't expect to see her hosting future seasons of The Bachelorette.
