While having a conversation in the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast, Jill revealed that she didn’t consider Jacob as her partner at first. When she saw Jacob for the first time, her first impression of him was one of a clown. They would each other making faces but didn’t have any interaction. Jill was also engaged in dealing with her connection with Romeo and didn’t have enough time to explore her options.
Jill and Jacob first hit it off at a cocktail party, where the duo had a deep conversation. Jill explored a different side of Jacob. She felt that apart from being goofy, there is a caring and sweet side of him. The connection between the duo only started getting stronger from then on. Jill and Jacob as a couple were not only shocking for contestants on Paradise but also surprising for fans. In Jill’s words, “That was a huge surprise. I was not expecting that from Jacob of all people.”
