One concept artist who worked on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Though Nebula is introduced as a villain, she eventually s the Avengers to help them defeat Thanos.

In Avengers: Endgame, the Avengers travel back in time to collect the Infinity Stones. This means several of them encounter their past selves, including Nebula. In an early draft of the movie, that Nebula tries to wield the Infinity Gauntlet in an attempt to prove herself to Thanos. The scene would have been a nod to the comics, as Nebula uses the Gauntlet to heal herself from her Thanos-inflicted wounds. However, the moment never made it into the final version of Avengers: Endgame.

Luckily, fans no longer have to wonder what that may have looked like, as MCU concept artist the Nebula from 2014 can be seen wearing the Infinity Gauntlet. The art also shows Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) looking on, hidden behind a rock. Check out Schirle's concept art below:

Though fans are still enjoying hearing about behind-the-scenes details like this one from Avengers: Endgame, they're also looking ahead to Iron Man 2 a decade ago. Meanwhile, The Eternals has been shrouded in so much secrecy that viewers don't really know what to expect, other than that it will take place over thousands of years.

It's been almost a year since Avengers: Endgame was released, but concept art from the movie is still making its way into the world. Since the movie wrapped up the massive Infinity Saga, it makes sense that fans are still interested in hearing about it. Sometimes, information about what didn't makes it into a movie is just as interesting as what did. With how many stories Avengers: Endgame had to wrap up, some were bound to be left on the cutting room floor. At least now fans no longer have to imagine what Nebula wielding the Infinity Gauntlet would have looked like if it made it to screen.
