About Stephen Tang
Stephen Tang is a UK-based writer for the Gaming Team at Screen Rant. An aspiring novelist, lifelong gamer and Computer Animation Graduate from Bournemouth University, Stephen is constantly on the lookout for narratives and mechanics that push boundaries and bring the gaming industry forward.
Favorite Media
Stephen has a love for great narratives as well as a keen eye on the indie game scene. His favourite titles include: Hollow Knight, Hades, Tekken 8, Baldur's Gate 3, God of War, Monster Hunter: World and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
When not playing games, Stephen is either working on a novel, reading, playing guitar or watching a series.
Industry Focus
Having grown up in a generation more accustomed to games as a form of mainstream media, Stephen spent his childhood surrounded by different gaming consoles, having played across PC, Playstation, Xbox and the varying Nintendo consoles. He loves variety but has a distinct soft spot for longstanding game franchises, such as Tekken, God of War and The Legend of Zelda.
As someone who had dipped their toe in game development with Unreal Engine 4, Stephen is drawn to the technical side of gaming, whether that be revolutionary visuals or inventive mechanics.
