About Samantha Schreyer
From influencer to Screen Rant writer, Sam Schreyer re buying comic books off an old-school spinning rack at a grocery store. Though she graduated with a degree in theatre, her true ions lie in writing, content creation, and geek culture (primarily comics and video games). Her life's goal is to go from talking and writing about comics to publishing her own.
Industry Focus
It started with the Riddler.
Samantha Schreyer discovered comics at the age of 12 when she found a new special interest in the form of Batman villains. Since then, she has expanded her expertise to comics in general, focusing heavily on Batman and indie comics. A lover of media analysis, she can't help but pick apart anything you put in front of her.
Favorite Media
She loves a good villain-forward comic, especially when it comes to Batman and Spider-Man's rogues galleries. She likes good comics - and isn't afraid to say when something is bad. Junji Ito owns her soul, and in her spare time you can find her reading a thrift-store comic or playing the latest indie horror game.
