About Samantha Calimbahin

Samantha Calimbahin is a Movie and TV News Writer for Screen Rant. Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, she holds a journalism degree from TCU and began her career writing for a local newspaper. She eventually became an editor at Fort Worth Magazine, a city lifestyle publication. There, she covered everything from city issues to food and culture, interviewing everyone from government officials to big-name actors who call the Dallas-Fort Worth area home. After leaving the magazine in 2021, she ed Screen Rant to write about some of her favorite topics — namely, Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and the like. Steeped in those fandoms and others, Sam loves to express her nerdy side through cosplaying and Disneybounding, consistently sharing outfits-of-the-day on Instagram (@i_am_little_sam). Sam is also an avid musician under the name Little Sam, a nod to her stature.
