About Mark Ryan Walberg

Mark Ryan Walberg grew up in the rural high deserts of California, where a local video store, a Super 8 camera, and a group of bored friends sparked his ion for storytelling and filmmaking. He honed his craft at UC Berkeley, writing and directing several short films while earning his degree in Film Studies.

Mark launched his TV career as a staff writer on The CW’s Legacies, where he wrote and produced multiple episodes over the show’s run. He has since expanded his portfolio with feature scripts, pilots, and his award-winning short film Slippers, currently concluding its international festival circuit.

A cinephile at heart, Mark has a deep appreciation for cinema’s rich history, from obscure classics to contemporary hits. When not writing, you can often spot him at the park being dragged by his dog, or at the local theater with his wife and a large popcorn.
