Favorite Media

Favorite Media: Madison loves media that centers on women's stories. She especially loves rom-coms and period pieces, from 10 Things I Hate About You to When Harry Met Sally and My Lady Jane to Pride and Prejudice and Bridgerton. She also ires media that showcases the human condition, particularly shows like FX’s The Bear and HBO’s Big Little Lies. Action adventure shows like Outlander and House of the Dragon are also on her radar.

She began her career covering music, and particularly enjoys pop, rock, and indie music (especially Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Hozier, Phoebe Bridgers and more). Much of her cultural criticism is based on film and music history, and she is particularly knowledgeable about 1970s rock, especially Fleetwood Mac.
