About Jaye Hernandez
Jaye Hernandez is a well-seasoned reality TV features writer for Collider. After studying journalism and psychology, she began her career as a freelance writer. In the last 10 years, she's expanded into a mental health advocate, a contributor for Holistic Living Path, and an entertainment content writer. Although she was born and raised in NYC, she now lives in the mountains, has a big house full of animals, and loves to connect with nature. If she's not writing, reading, or listening to music, she can be found hiking through the woods, meditating in the rain, feeding the hummingbirds in her yard, or in the corner sneaking in a yoga session. In 2011, she won a state-wide creative writing contest and has been chasing her dream ever since. Writing isn’t easy, but her flow is one you won’t forget!
Favorite Media
Jaye has a major guilty pleasure for drama-filled reality TV. Her all-time favorite couple are Alexei and Loren, although she enjoys the turmoil of Gino and Jasmine. Some of her favorite reality shows pertain to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, such as 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, and 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. However, she also enjoys a solid love story, like those featured in Love is Blind, and a gross Botched plot! Reality TV drama always makes her feel better about her life.
Industry Focus
Jaye has been a professional writer since 2011. In her time, she has written for various reality TV, mental health, and holistic inner healing sites. These days, she can be found as a reality TV features writer for Collider and a blog writer for Holistic Living Path. She covers the entire 90 Day Fiance franchise, including but limited to Happily Ever After?, Before the 90 Days, and Love In Paradise. She also focuses on other reality love and dating shows like Love Is Blind, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, and Too Hot To Handle.
