Jack is a Gaming Features writer from Northamptonshire, England. After a lifelong interest in gaming, fiction, movies and music, Jack graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 with a first-class degree in Literature with an emphasis on surrealist texts. After an apprenticeship in editorial publishing, he now freelances as a writer, copy editor, and proofreader. In his free time, Jack writes weird fiction inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Thomas Pynchon, looks after his puppy Sylvie, reviews the latest in arthouse cinema, and of course, plays a ton of video games. His all-time favorite video games include Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Doom (2016), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fable II, Kenshi, Bioshock: Infinite, World of Horror, Hearts of Iron IV, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Glittermitten Grove, in no particular order. In recent years he has welcomed all challengers to 1v1 him in Halo: Infinite and has been slowly destroying colony after colony in Rimworld.
