Working as a speech writer and communications writer in the past, Colin McCormick has been a proud member of Screen Rant since 2019, being able to write about a variety of things he is ionate about in the pop culture world. Going back to when he first saw The Lion King in theaters, movies has been a lifelong love.

Colin is a huge fan of the Coen Brothers with their Oscar-winning Fargo ranking as his favorite movie of all time. He is also heavily influenced by the writing of authors Elmore Leonard and Jim Thompson. The TV adaptation of Justified, based on Leonard's work, is also his all-time favorite series.
