Anna Williams -- not to be confused with the Tekken character -- is an editor and writer for Screen Rant's anime section. When she's not fighting evil by moonlight, they can often be found reading a little too much manga by daylight. Ever since being introduced to anime with classic series like Sailor Moon and Pokémon, Anna has been heavily involved in the community, attending conventions, and turning her hobby into a career. In her free time, Anna enjoys deep-diving her favorite series, reading horror and fantasy novels, and playing way too many TTRPGs with friends.

I have been writing and editing for four years, and have a special place in my heart for anime and manga after spending so many years being a casual fan. I love deep-diving and analyzing some of the deeper intricacies found in the industry, while still being able to have fun with self-aware series that don't take themselves as seriously.

Being an avid anime and manga fan, I have a large list of favorites, but there's a few key series that I believe define my love for the medium, being: Goodnight Punpun and Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction by Inio Asano, Princess Jellyfish by Akiko Higashimura, The Summer Hikaru Died by Mokumokuren, Firefly Wedding by Oreco Tachibana, and Delicious in Dungeon by Ryoko Kui.
